The informal evaluation consists of administration of the Phonological Awareness Screening Test (P.A.S.T.), the Qualitative Reading Inventory-6 (QRI-6), and a writing sample which will present a snapshot of your child’s phonological awareness in regard to manipulation of sounds, word recognition, reading fluency, recall of details, and comprehension. The writing sample is the only written component and allows for a review for letter formation, dexterity, and spelling.
